## What is Cloud LAPS

Idemeum Cloud LAPS is the solution that allows you to set up automatic password rotation for your computer or Entra ID break-glass credentials. The best practice is to have two sets of emergency credentials:

- One set of credentials is stored in your password management/vault.
- The second set is configured for automated password rotation and is dynamically updated.

Idemeum allows you to rotate break-glass admin credentials on each of your computers as well as for each Microsoft Entra ID tenant you manage. When the Idemeum desktop agent is installed and Cloud LAPS is enabled, Idemeum rotates the designated admin account every `24 hours` and uploads the credential to the cloud. You can view these credentials in the Idemeum cloud portal or the Idemeum mobile application.
